GLIDING PROGRAM

Great Prices - The Winter Program for University Students.
The Daily Flying Rate is ONLY $190
With this package you get:

  • Up to 5 launches a day (normally not cumulative)
  • 2 seat and solo glider use!
  • Briefings and conversions to the gliders for your ability.
  • Daily Inspector Training.
  • GFA membership included!
  • Dormitory Accommodation included!
  • Basic Cross Country training is available. Waikerie is a world renowned cross country site.
  • Verification of any FAI claims included!

All you need to do is visit our booking page, give us your details and send in a deposit. (You can also contact us by phone, fax or email - details at bottom of this page.)
Deposits are $100 for each day you wish to fly with us.

The Program Dates: The program starts Monday 18th August and runs for 4 to 6 weeks depending on bookings.
We can only accommodate a fixed number of students at one time, so don't be late with your booking!

And what else? Keisuke Eguchi is our primary instructor for this period. Many of you would have flown with Eguchi-san.

How to get to Waikerie: There are international airline flights to Adelaide, then it is only a 2.5 hour bus trip from Adelaide's Central Bus Terminal to Waikerie.

Or you could take an international flight to Sydney or Melbourne, then a domestic flight to Adelaide, then the 2.5 hour bus trip from Adelaide to Waikerie.

What do you need to pack? Warm clothes. Yes, Waikerie has a winter too! Temperatures can go as low as 0 degrees Celsius at dawn and reach between 15 and 20 degrees during the day at this time of year.
Pack your logbook, hat sunglasses.
