This
course is very popular. It is normally run in early December so you
have the rest of the season to practice the knowledge you have just
learned.
For a period of 7 days you live gliding! We have a number of experienced
pilots who help you as leaders. Some fly long distance, others competition
pilots, but they all love the same thing Cross Country Flying.
Every morning there are briefings and discussions on different topics
related to Cross Country flying and in the evening we have a debrief
and discussion over a beer in the air conditioned clubroom
Every day you will fly, be it to practice something you have learned,
fly a task in a 2 seat glider with a coach or leader, or fly a lead
and follow with a coach and another student in solo gliders.
By the end of the week most pilots are out exploring with their new
skills or attempting their distance Badge Flights.
